WHAT DOES CORNERSTONE WEALTH ADVISORS, INC. DO WITH YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

What we do
How does Cornerstone Wealth Advisors protect my personal information? To protect your personal information from unauthorized access

and use, we use security measures that comply with federal law.

These measures include computer safeguards and secured files

and buildings.

How does Cornerstone Wealth Advisors collect my personal information? We collect your personal information, for example, when you

  • open an account or enter into an investment advisory contract
  • give us your income information or provide employment information
  • tell us about your investment or retirement portfolio or give us your contact information

We also may collect your personal information from other companies.

Why can’t I limit all sharing? Federal law gives you the right to limit only

  • sharing for affiliates’ everyday business purposes -information about your credit worthiness
  • affiliates from using your information to market to you
  • sharing for nonaffiliates to market to you

State laws and individual companies may give you additional rights to limit sharing.

Other Important Information
In response to a California law, we automatically treat accounts with California billing addresses as if you do not want to disclose personal information about you to nonaffiliated third parties except as permitted by the applicable California law.  We will also limit the sharing of personal information about you with our affiliates to comply with all California privacy laws that apply to us.

If your financial advisor terminates his or her relationship with us and moves to another investment advisory firm, then you must give your written consent before we will allow your financial advisor to take any of your personal information to that new firm.
